Recently, the team at SKA Environment LLC successfully completed a comprehensive 65-site portfolio for a client requiring environmental site assessments for strip mall locations across the continental United States. To celebrate the completion of the company’s largest portfolio to date, we wanted to provide an inside look at how our teams work in concert to deliver large-scale projects with the same precision and promptness expected of our boutique contracts.
The Lifecycle of a Portfolio
The process begins the moment a portfolio is officially awarded to us. From there, Hannah Walker our Environmental Professional & Operations Support Manager initiated the logistical engine: filing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, establishing communication with site locations, and managing the complex travel and scheduling for our team.
Expertise in the Field
Our Environmental Professionals/ Field Specialists, including Robert McGonagle and Jose L., deployed according to a rigorous schedule. Their work on the ground involved:
- Establishing contact with site-specific representatives.
- Conducting pre-inspection interviews.
- Performing comprehensive onsite inspections.
- Capturing detailed written and photographic documentation.
For this specific portfolio, our team traveled through more than 20 states, including Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Quality Control and Delivery
As fieldwork concludes, documentation is transitioned into the report-writing phase. Our process ensures that every deliverable meets our rigorous internal standards before undergoing a multi-level review. This final stage of technical revision ensures that the final submission is accurate, compliant, and ready for client acceptance.
Our Commitment
At SKA Environment LLC, we bring the same level of dedication to every project, regardless of scale. We are grateful to our long-term partners and look forward to the new challenges of tomorrow.
